After graduating from University in Liverpool as an earth scientist Bryn fed his passion for the natural world with travel. “This experience really shaped me as a person and inspired me to teach”

Bryn is the Headteacher of a truly unique school, Wolverly CE Secondary School, which has moved from ‘requires improvement’ to ‘good’ under his 3 years of leadership.

Bryn is married to Ness and has a busy family life with 3 teen aged children and a black Labrador.

Bryn says:

“I am an all-rounder who loves anything sporty or outdoors. I love getting involved in the activities at school and I am always amazed at the talents of young people. I have a great sense of humour and thoroughly enjoy being in and out of lessons, witnessing the fun and achievement that students experience every day. I think being a Headteacher is all about sharing the joys of learning alongside all our students and staff, rather than just being the boss!”

In any spare time he manages to find, Bryn enjoys walking in the local hills with his dog, cricket, golf, skiing (his school has its very own ski slope!) playing guitar, cooking, gardening and cycling on a road bike.
